![]() I absolutely love ginger bread cookies! I find them so comforting for my physical body but also for my spirit. This afternoon I got the craving to bake some! This is a fun way to celebrate the Fall Equinox and fill your home with the smell of fresh spices and a taste of fall! Recipe makes about 8 cookies. (I always cut recipes in half so I can nourish my sweet tooth but not over indulge) Your can find the original recipe at http://allrecipes.com/recipe/big-soft-ginger-cookies/
Here is the modified recipe I used: 3/4 c flour 1/4 c flax mill 1 tbsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp clove 1/8 tsp salt (or a dash) 1/3 c butter or coconut oil 1/4 c raw sugar (or sugar of your choice) 1 egg 3 tbsp. of molasses Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes! Enjoy!
