3 Ways to find your balance:
1. Ask yourself what do I need right now?
You may need rest, alone time, creativity, an Epsom salt bath, a cup of tea, a movie or maybe it is to be angry or sad. When we give ourselves what we need we can come back to balance much quicker. It replenishes us on all levels: body, mind, emotions, & spirit.
2. Allow yourself to be where you are.
This past week I have had moments where I was in the flow, but also moments when I felt pulled back by the wave. My practice has been allowing, watching, witnessing myself and the transformation around me. There was a point when I was tired exhausted and struggling to get back up…. And I thought to myself. Can I love myself at this point? When I started allowing myself to be where I was... it brought forth a raw vulnerable energy. It was a little scary, but at the same time felt so good. Can you love and allow yourself to be at your weakest most vulnerable point? The amazingness of this is it creates strength, courage, & empowerment... because when you can show up that vulnerable that is YOU 100% in your strength & shadow. In my eyes this is PURE BEAUTY.
3. Ask for support.
Yesterday, I talked with one of my friends (a wise, beautiful soul) I told her about where I am on my journey and I asked her for support. She gave me these words of wisdom that totally shifted something in me...“ Look outside (it was pouring down raining). Nature is messy. All the water, the mud, the earth. It is messy. Look at the puddles and everything slushing around. But, out of this the seed is planted deep within the ground. Then it has to push it’s way through the dirt as it becomes a plant, then blooming flowers (beauty). Growth is messy.”
Can you be ok with being messy? Showing up just as you are... at your most raw vulnerable moments, allowing someone to see you and support you? It is such an amazing feeling when we can be seen, supported, and loved just for where we are.
Can you allow the growth process?
Witnessing it… watching, loving yourself and the nature of nature at each moment and step of the process? It is in the allowing that the seed, the plant is able to grow and blossom. When you force it… over watering it or packing down the dirt too tight it can’t grow.
My message and challenge for you this week: How can you create space to allow yourself to grow and bloom?
* Do you need to be more compassionate with yourself and the process?
* Do you need to reach out and get some support or guidance so you can come
back to your center?
* Or maybe you need to put your rain boots on or grab your surf board and go play
in the rain & surf?
Allow your heart and spirit to guide you to what you need and what would feel good for you.
I would love to hear from you and support you as you create new growth. Post your comments bellow and let's connect.
