Your body has infinite wisdom. It communicates with you constantly asking you for what it needs and letting you know when something is out of balance. Think of a time when you were hungry or thirsty... did you body let you know? What about a time when you had to speak to someone about something you were afraid to say? Do you remember if your body reacted? Did you get anxiety in your chest or maybe feel a lump in your throat? In today's blog you will learn the 4 ways your body communicates with you and how to tune in so you can live a happy, healthy life you love! Learning how to speak your body's language and tune into what it needs is SOOOO important! When we fail to hear our body's messages or chose not to listen they tend to get louder and louder and eventually can turn into health issues, weight gain, pain, even depression.
There are 4 main ways your body communicates and 4 levels of health! 1. Physical When our body speaks to use physically it shows up in the form of physical issues like weight gain, aches or pains, trouble sleeping, low energy level, etc. Our physical health is often affected by things like diet and exercise. Sometimes physical symptoms show up because the body is trying to tell us something and get our attention because another level of our health is out of balance. 2. Mental (thoughts) The second way our body communicates with us is through our thoughts. Most of our thoughts are formed based on how we grew up from both conscious and subconscious beliefs. Our body starts to react to the way we think about things and perceive things. This becomes a problem when the things we think, worry about, or believe aren't really true they are just a story from our past. For instance breathe into this thought and notice how you feel in your body.... going back to that time when you needed to speak up about something. What if as you were building up the courage to say your peace... you thought the other person was going to get mad and start a fight. Do you notice any sensations in your body? The thing is we walk around all day with thoughts and assumptions that aren't true and it can cause us a lot of pain and discomfort. The secret to mental health is learning to quiet the mind and change the thoughts so we can find peace and bring peace to the physical body. 3. Emotional I think this is the topic most people don't really want to talk about or dive into LOL. So many of as children were taught that there are good emotions and negative emotions! And the negative ones especially anger or sadness - well you just shouldn't feel them! Well, I am here to tell you, that's not true :0) All of our emotions are beautiful and they each have very powerful messages for us! Our emotions are actually the bridge to our soul, our heart center! They help us know what is good for us and what is true for us. 4. Spiritual The fourth level of health and way our body communicates with us is spiritual health and intuition(truly my favorite). Our spiritual health is more than just our spiritual practice or if we go to church or not. It is the deepest most authentic part of ourselves. It is what we absolutely know we love, it's who we are at the core of our being, it's who we are in the image of God, it is who we are as a soul! This constantly comes through to us in the form of intuition and signs. When this goes un noticed, ignored, or denied it can start to manifest into health issues in the physical body, lead to fatigue, and often depression.
